The Green Tornado

Tiffany did some yard work today, cutting off some of the little bush-trees cropping up around our yard. One could even say that it was as if the "Green Tornado" descended upon 2103 E. Mabel St. for a couple of hours.

We also went on a bike ride early this morning (left around 8) and had a great time going over Gates Pass, which is out west. It took about an hour total, but going in and coming back we had to go up over the pass and it was a great feeling when we made it to the top. I wasn't even sure I'd be able to make it, but I had my shoes locked into the petals and I just didn't want to give up. I told Tiff afterwards that I felt like "Garamond, that guy who won a stage in the tour at age 24 this year." Tiff then informed me that Garamand was a font in Microsoft Word, and I probably meant Gerdemann. Oops!

Very impressive, Tiffany!

And you also meant "pedals," since I assume that flowers aren't connected to your bike.

This may seem weird but I have been trying to track down Tiffany for ever. We were friends in High School. Well, I blog searched her name today and found your website and I am so excited to see Tiffany in your pictures. Could you pass on my email Thea.Eschliman@comcast.net to her? I would love to catch up with her!

I meant petals, in the sense that the pedals were so light and fast that I could have sworn they were made of the flowery material!
