It is with the greatest regret that I must postpone the posting of any further pictures from our adventures to Denali National Park and the Kenai Fjords peninsula, for once I again must report another attempted suicide by little Mr. Horsey. Apparently, he snuck into my backpack while neither of us were looking and stowed away until we were posing for a picture on the harbor with the rest of Tiff's family in Seward. It was then that he made the decision to lower himself by rope into the dangerous waters of the Kenai Fjords, most likely in a misguided attempt to swim back to his true and rightful owner, Jessica Levy. It was only the sheerest of luck that led Tiffany to turn around at the very second that Horsey was about to be lost forever and rescue him from sure doom. I happened to be turning around a fraction of a second later, and quickly snapped this photograph as undeniable proof of what happened:

I wonder what Ms. Levy has to say for herself now? I couldn't help but notice her silence regarding the last post about Horsey. Surely she is laden with guilt and shame following the shirking of such an important responsibility as the well-being of a delicate individual like Horsey!
Posted by Shane at August 2, 2007 11:19 PMHmmm. Methinks someone, SHANE, tried to kill Horsey. Fortunately for you, you have plenty of family members to blame it on. Most likely you'll point the finger at Nelson, who with his unmatched quirkyness seems a natural, though unfortunate candidate for Horsey homicide. Nelson, I KNOW you didn't do this. Nay, I realize that Tiffany and Shane have it in for little Horsey, and I picture the evil grin on Shane's face, and Tiffany laughing in the background while you, Shane, snapped this incriminating little photo.
Hasn't Horsey suffered ENOUGH?
