Well, softball started out better than I hoped, with a total of 14 people showing up (I had been expecting 10-12). However, it turned bad when one of the more enthusiastic players was hit near his right eye by a flyball that he was trying to make a running catch on. It was bad enough that he had to be taken to the hospital to stop the bleeding. After he and a couple of other people were gone (one to drive, another to navigate), we weren't in the mood to continue the game, so it came to an abrupt end. I just hope that he's ok.
